There are over 24000 food trucks and trailers in the United States, many of them are designed by a backyard mechanic or a restaurateur who needed a mobile kitchen to feed their family as a 'field expedient', much like in our favorite movie chef.

A question as old as time among aspiring food truckers is if they should build a food truck or a food trailer

New vehicles are always nice, they smell good, you can put it to production immediately and they (at least ours do!) come with a manufacturer’s warranty. But we are all in different phases of life and may not be able to afford a new vehicle, in which case a used vehicle or trailer may be a good option.
